At Armada Area Schools we offer a caring, safe, and child-centered environment where students are challenged by high academic standards. From our comprehensive all day kindergarten program to our award-winning high school programs, we offer a variety of learning opportunities for students of all ages.
At the high school level, students can enroll in a more intensive course of study by enrolling in advanced placement courses to help prepare them for college and university. Armada High School also offers a full range of programs in Career and Technical Education (CTE); including our award winning Health Occupations and Renewal Energy.
Armada Middle offers a rigorous academic environment as well as many opportunities for students to explore. Every sixth graders has a technology class that is part of the national recognized Project Lead The Way Program. Students can earn high school credit while in middle school for Algebra, Spanish I and II, and French I and II.
Our elementary students enjoy specials in technology, music, art, science, and physical education. Every K-5 student receives instruction in our Google Chromebook lab and in our piano keyboard lab.
Armada Area Schools is home to the Macomb Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Middle Academy of Arts and Sciences. All academy students are selected to attend the academy because of their potential to achieve in the areas of math and sciences. High school students have the option to take multiple Advanced Placement courses as well as Lawrence Technological University classes on campus. All students are involved in college level research every year. The academy students tend to have the highest average ACT scores in the county and are accepted to some of the most selective colleges in the country.
