Mr. Mark Gosciewski

The role of the assistant principal is traditionally focused on disciplinary issues. I believe it is also important to be supportive in a variety of curriculum and school improvement activities as well. Our mission as a school is to provide a caring learning community where students and teachers are making good choices and providing a good example for others.

Students who are sent to my office with disciplinary referrals are encouraged to take responsibility for their behavior and avoid repeat offenses. We have a tiered system of disciplinary consequences, which includes Saturday School. The option we wish to avoid is out-of-school suspension.

Our attendance policy encourages students to be present each day, in the classroom, where they will learn the most. Students with excessive absences are encouraged to participate in the One-for-One program to avoid a grade reduction at the semester.

Armada High School offers our students a variety of learning and extracurricular activities to prepare them for the future. We wish for students to take advantage of all our school has to offer.
