Today we discussed some of the character shifts in chapters 3-5, particularly for Simon and Roger, along with the symbols that arise more prominently in these chapters. Mr. Becker recorded a video (linked below) to explain those characters and symbols a little more clearly.

We also watched the Milgram Experiment; Check out the link to the video below. The point of the video is to pay attention to human psyche- what is the lesson? How did the average person act? How did leadership act? What's the overall moral or lesson? Put that information in the 4 box Psychology document Mr. Becker sent last week. You can watch from 1 minute in until 9 minutes. Skip the other parts.

Marketing II

I hope you all are doing well. Since you've all taken marketing I, I'll keep this short and sweet. Email me if you need me. We will hold a google hangout/youtube live once a week to talk.

Here's how we'll start the trimester given our current situation: below is a link to an entrepreneurial simulation where you'll devise a business plan, do market research, fine tune the 4 Ps (you better remember these) and run a business. It's actually pretty fun and can be challenging.

Personal Financial Literacy

My goal would be that you do one Module a week, starting as early as now. Feel free to work through them faster or slower, as your time permits.

Then, once a week, I will hold a google hangout or a youtube live stream where we can talk about the content, you can ask questions and I can answer them. I'm still working on that part, but just know I will be accessible to answer questions the entire time we're off.

That schedule will be posted later this week. I will also email some other recommendations out, like youtube videos, netflix documentaries or articles to read, but those will be coming next week.
